Uniform
All children are expected to wear academy uniform at all times. Uniform can be purchased online from SPT Uniforms – https://www.sptuniforms.co.uk/product-category/whetley-academy/
We also try to order in various sizes for those parents that might find it difficult to purchase a uniform online. These are available at the school office.
The uniform for children in Little Acorns to Year 5 consists of:
- Royal blue V-neck jumper, cardigan or sweatshirt
- Grey or black trousers/skirt
- White polo shirt, shirt or blouse
- In warmer weather, children can also wear blue gingham checked summer dress or grey or black shorts.
The uniform for children in Year 6 consists of:
- Royal blue V-neck jumper, cardigan or sweatshirt
- Tie (provided by the academy)
- White shirt or blouse
- Grey or black trousers/skirt
- In warmer weather, children in Year 6 can also wear: Blue gingham checked summer dress or grey or black shorts.
Please ensure you label all school uniform and equipment, including coats, with your child’s name and class. The academy accepts no responsibility for lost items of clothing.
PE
All children need to come to school in their PE uniform on their PE days. The PE uniform is black jogging bottoms or black shorts and a white t-shirt. Children can also wear a black hooded top. Trainers must be worn on PE days.
